Accenture is testing Oracle Deep Data Security as a way to protect enterprise data even when AI agents generate their own SQL queries. The database applies user-specific access policies to each request, limiting what agents can retrieve despite application-layer errors or manipulated prompts.

Microsoft is ending OneDrive for Business storage expansions past 5 TB. Any account above that limit will be switched to read-only between November 2026 and February 2027. At the same time, Microsoft is launching a metered pay-as-you-go (PAYG) option at $0.20 per GB per month, so tenants that got larger quotas through an approved process now have to either delete data or pay for it.

Microsoft will stream its fourth annual OneDrive + Copilot Digital Event on October 20, giving users an early look at new AI features for files, photos, collaboration, and knowledge in Microsoft 365. The free event will include product demonstrations, expert discussions, and a live question-and-answer session, although Microsoft has not yet disclosed which features will debut.
